About myself:

Graduated from Clausthal University of Technology, Professor of Geophysics at Freie Universität Berlin and since 2003 Professor of Geophysics and Geoinformation at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel; retired in 2014; visiting professor at the universities of Concepción (Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina). Guest residencies at Stanford University, USGS (USA) and Geoscience Australia (Canberra, Australia).

Main areas of research: Integration of Geophysics and Geology; Mathematical Geology and Potential field theory; visualization and geoinformation. Geophysical field work in the Andes, Alps and in the virtual space.
